 Oklahoma in Action

AmeriCorps members will serve in nonprofit organizations to fill the service gap created by budget declines and decreased financial donations.

They will serve primarily as capacity-builders doing service activities that expand, strengthen and improve a community’s ability to deliver resources in sustainable ways. Members will also recruit and manage volunteers

Members will be placed at host sites throughout the state and will implement new programs, expand existing programs, or increase the quality of existing programs in order to provide access to fundamental resources.

Members serve at the following sites:

Central Oklahoma Integrated Network System, OKC   Opry Herigage Foundation of Oklahoma
National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Tulsa - OKC   Parents Assistance Center, OKC
Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, OKC   Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma- OKC
